The Pho Trio was founded in 2004, bringing together three very active musicians from Quebec’s jazz scene. The members of the Pho Trio—François Côté (drums), Renaud Paquet (bass), Vincent Gagnon (piano)—rearrange and interpret songs from Serge Gainsbourg’s catalogue. With Paquet’s captivating voice, the Pho Trio creates original jazz-rooted ambiances that bring new life to Gainsbourg’s romantic and cavalier songs.
