Keith Kouna first became known as the singer/songwriter of the well known defunct rock punk metal band, Les Goules, with whom he made three albums and a DVD, and presented over 100 concerts. Their performance at the Festival d’été de Québec (2006) won them the Miroir prize.
In 2008, Keith launched his first solo album, Les années Monsieur, which presents songs written before the Goules’ era. They are rich in contrast, humorous and melancholic, subtle and moving, simultaneously captivating and upsetting.
Vincent Gagnon joined the new Keith Kouna band in 2009. For Vincent, this foray with such a high-energy group takes him far from the world of jazz, allowing him to have fun and let off steam.
