Author-composer-interpreter, Annie Poulain has a growing reputation in jazz instrumentals and vocals. Both her first album (2006) and her show, Rêver en couleur, which was presented in Quebec and abroad, have gained critical and public praise.
An accomplished musician, sincere and passionate, she integrates the rich colours of jazz with the repertoires of Souchon, Lelièvre, Clerc and her own compositions. Her first album won ‘Best Jazz Album’, ‘Best Production’ and ‘Best Studio Sound’ at the Gala de la musique de Québec 2009.
Vincent Gagnon has collaborated with Annie since 2001. Over time, their differences have augmented their personal artistic allegiances to create a common blend both rich and sincere.
Annie Poulain’s second album, Saoûlée à l’autre (2009), is available in music stores.
